Engines Plus launches new products

Engines Plus is pleased to announce a new product for the UK Canal Boat market. At present Engines Plus, will be entering this market with the Canaline 50 and 70, two marine engines ideally suited to a larger narrow boat or a wide beam boat.

The Canaline 50 is based on a 2.3L Deutz Diesel Engine, and is fully emission compliant to the RCD, and future regulations including EPA Tier 4 and NRMM Stage 3a. The engine features the large SAE 10” flywheel to ensure smooth running, it is indirect injection to ensure no smoke in locks, and has some smart operational features including both oil and fuel filter are at the back of the engine for ease of service.

The Canaline is 70 is based on a 3.3L Mitsubishi / Sole Diesel Engine, and is fully emission compliant to the RCD, and future regulations including EPA Tier 4 and NRMM Stage 3a. The engine features the large SAE 11” flywheel to ensure smooth running, it is indirect injection to ensure no smoke in locks, and has enough power to ensure this Canaline engine powers your wide beam boat.

Both engines are fitted with PRM Marine gearboxes, twin 50 & 110 Amp alternators, and come complete with a Deluxe engine control panel.

Engines Plus will be introducing a smaller range of engines over the coming months, including the Canaline 38, 42 and 48. Engines Plus are also pleased to announce that they have been appointed as a PRM Marine distributor, for the entire gearbox product range and spare parts. Engines Plus believe this is a good brand to have as part of our portfolio, and will fit well with the marine engines.
