“Engines Plus launch the Canaline engine range at Crick”

Engines Plus Ltd is pleased to the introduction of the Canaline Marine engine range at this year’s Crick Boat Show.

The Canaline 25, 30, 38, 42 and 52, are based on an industrial diesel engine, from Korea, the Kioti Diesel Engine, with the larger Canaline 70 based on the Mitsubishi / Sole Diesel engine.

The Kioti Diesel engines, meet and exceed the current RCD exhaust emission levels, as they are compliant to EPA tier 4, and European Stage 3A exhaust emission levels. All engines are indirect injection, ensuring these engines are clean, and more importantly don’t smoke in locks.

Kioti the company, was established in 1947, and are a leading manufacturer of diesel engines and agriculture equipment in Korea, with their key products being a range of small tractors, which are all powered by these diesel engines. These diesel engines are produced in a state of the art engine manufacturing facility which currently produces 40,000 engines per annum, with their Technical Centre consistently striving to ensure these diesel engines are best in class.

The Canaline 38, 42 and 52 marine engines have many key features known to the industry, all engines are 4 cylinder and have the large SAE10” flywheel to ensure smooth engine running, indirect injection, to ensure no smoke in locks, and come complete with a PRM gearbox, twin 50 & 110 Amp alternator (80 Amp on the 38), and engine control panel.

The Canaline 25 and 30 is a compact 3 cylinder marine engine, ideal for the smaller narrrowboats, and come complete with large flywheel to ensure smooth engine running, indirect injection, to ensure no smoke in locks, and with a PRM 80 gearbox, twin 50 & 80 Amp alternator, and engine control panel.

All models include an electric fuel lift pump for ease of priming, oversize fuel filter including water trap, single side servicing, so both oil and fuel filter are on the same side, and include the deluxe panel on the Canaline 42 and 52 as standard.

Additional accessories include silencer kits, hospital silencer, 3.5 or 5.0 kvA travel power kits, panel upgrade, and alternative gearbox dependant on customer choice.
